Whistler Children's Art Festival Seeking Volunteers & Supplies

Whistler's most beloved children's festival is back in Creekside on August 13th and 14th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Whistler Arts Council is calling on the community to come have fun in the sun and help children participate in this memorable weekend of crafts, music, acrobatics, storytelling, music and dance led by renowned instructors. WAC requires volunteers for every aspect of the festival, from workshop assistants to registration, green room hospitality, set up/tear down, pre-event administration and operations crew. Individuals who love to work with kids and can cut construction paper, operate a glue gun and manage sparkle, feathers and felt distribution, can be workshop assistants for fun crafts like Animal Jars, Beading Bonanza, Bug Village and more!

Without the help and support of community members, the Whistler Children's Art Festival (CAF) would never have become the festival we look forward to every year. Originally spearheaded by dedicated volunteers with growing help from full-time staff and sponsors, the festival continues to display quality workshops in a fun environment for the whole family. Come join us in helping create an environment where kids rule!

WAC is also looking for donations of Canadian Tire money from the community. Canadian Tire money will be used to purchase the much needed supplies. Additionally, WAC is reaching out to the community to donate eco-friendly workshop supplies.
