Great news is that the West Coast Mini Rail line has been restored to full operation. The trains once again circle the Heritage Park daily, and with some new sights along the line. One is the fabulous new "Garden Railway" - a large-scale model railway that operates in the outdoors environment in the woods near Sweet Apple station. The modelers have done a great job on this new attraction, worth a visit by all to see.

Also now fully open is the new "Skeena River" model railroad car. Our volunteer modellers have taken this coach and transformed it into a world of model trains; both HO scale and N scale can be found. The scenery and detail are amazing - you can explore the details for hours!

Of course, there are all the regular railway heritage exhibits to wander through, and the Royal Hudson is available for a look as well. The Brightbill Heritage House always has new things to discover, the children's play train in the Howard Lyttle Park is always popular, and the Beanery serves up good snacks and beverages.

How to find the West Coast Railway Heritage Park
From Vancouver it is about an hour's drive north on Highway 99 along spectacular Howe Sound to Squamish. Go approximately 2 km past the McDonald's stop until you come to Industrial Way. There is a traffic light at the intersection. Turn left and go to the stop sign at Queens Way. Turn right and follow the signs. After the BC Rail tracks you will see our entrance sign on the right.
