Whistler Offroad Cycling Association (WORCA)

Youth
WORCA offers a wide number of programs for kids who ride, and parents of kids who ride, emphasizing safety, skills and smiles.

Dirt Camps
During the summer months,The WORCA Youth Dirt Camps holds 1-week mountain bike camps for youth between the ages of 6 and 13. The focus of the Dirt Camps is safety, fun and mountain bike skill development (in that order!). See website for more info, dates and to register.

Youth Toonie Nights
These special nights are for kids ages 6-12 for just $2 per event. To participate a child must be WORCA member, and parent attendance is mandatory. It's a lot of fun and the kids learn to be safe, to conquer their fears and to have fun.

What is WORCA?
The Whistler Off Road Cycling Association was founded in 1989 to lobby against the pending closure of bike trails in Garibaldi Provincial Park. As a result of these early efforst the Cheakamus Lake and Elfin Lake trails remained open to cyclists.

WORCA has evolved over the last 15 years to become an integral part of Whistler. Today it has an eleven-member board of directors that represents and serves a community of more than 1,000 members.
