Squamish Birthing From Within Prenatal Classes

Classes run Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 7 with a number of short breaks. Snacks and tea are provided.

Registration is $250 per couple. It includes a copy of Birthing From Within, BFW's pain coping practices CD for parents and a pfd of resources and handouts.

The class covers the following areas:

Entering Labourland and the Labyrinth of Birth
Stages of Labour, Pushing & Placenta
Comfort Measures & Coping Strategies
Birth Partner
The Compassionate Use of Drugs & Epidurals
Cesarean-in-Awareness
Baby's first hour
Baby Care Basics
Breastfeeding
Postpartum Transition
