THE BIG HITTERS... (kid tested & mother approved)
Meadow Park Located behind the Meadow Park Sports Centre in Alpine Meadows, the views of the River of Golden Dreams with the backdrop of mountains is breathtaking. The water park is THE place to be on a hot day (the water is COLD, but the kids don't seem to mind!). On the valley trail, it is a nice 4km bike ride from the village.
Amenities: play structure, swings & sand pit, water park with squirters, slide and funky water features, picnic tables, bbq's, water fountain, beverage vending machine, pay phone, tennis courts, ball diamonds and large washrooms. A concession is located indoors at the sports centre.
Access: by valley trail and bus, it also offers three parking lots. (Sports Centre, Off of Rainbow/Camino Drive, Off of Rainbow Drive)

Rainbow Park
With awesome views of Whistler, Blackcomb and Wedge mountains, locals and visitors flock to this popular beachfront during summer. On the west side of Alta Lake, Rainbow Park is the site of the original Rainbow Lodge, a fishing lodge opened in 1914 that made the area the most popular honeymoon and vacation spot west of the Rockies. Some of the original cabins have been restored on site.
Amenities: huge grassy lawn, picnic tables, bbq pits, picnic shelter, bouyed swimming area and swimming dock, beach volleyball courts, summer concession, beverage vending machines, water fountain, pay phone, a boat dock, wheelchair ramp, group area and washroom/changeroom with flush toilets and a living roof. Dogs are invited to play and swim off leash at Barking Bay dog beach, to the south of the park.
Access: by valley trail and special bus service. A limited amount of parking is also available.
Lost Lake Park
Surrounded by lush evergreen forests and mountain views, Lost Lake is a beautiful oasis just outside the village. There is a great variety of trails for walking, hiking & mountainbiking in this area.
Amenities: large grassy area with picnic tables and bbq pits, sandy beach, buoyed swim areas, several swimming docks, concession, group area and clean washroom/changerooms. Canine Cove, where dogs are welcome to swim off leash, is across from the main beach. Trails run through the trees, for biking, walking or running. Lost Lake is stocked with fish, making fishing popular at this lake. No motorized boats are permitted.
Access: Lost Lake is accessible by Valley Trail and by walking from the village (approx. 30 minutes easy walk) - take the trail that runs past the skate park and under the Lorimer Rd bridge. There is no parking at the park during the summer, so ride, walk or take the Lost Lake Free Shuttle June 28-Sept. 1: Free service every 15 minutes from the Gondola Transit Exchange and the Village Park & Ride lots to Lost Lake. 10am-6pm. There is a small parking lot at lake outside of summer months.
In winter, the Lost Lake trails are converted, along with golf cart paths of the two adjacent golf courses, to cross country trail network. Click here for more information on cross country skiing in Whistler.
Alpha Lake Park
In Whistler's Creekside on the shores of Alpha Lake.
Amenities: cool treefort playhouse, beach, volleyball courts and tennis courts, along with picnic tables and bbqs.
Access: Turn right on Lake Placid Drive after the Husky station (going south) and follow this road to the park.

Lakeside Park
In Alta Vista along the shore of Alta Lake.
Amenities: small beach, grassy picnic area, a concession, docks, canoe & kayak rentals, small play structure and sand pit, picnic tables & BBQs, outhouses. The park is currently being redesigned to incorporate new parkland and improved features.
Access: Follow signs from Blueberry exit or take the next exit south to parking lot.

Wayside Park
Just south of Lakeside on the valley trail is Wayside park, small and tranquil.
Amenities: picnic tables, bbq pits, and a temporary outhouse, until a new washroom is completed.
Spruce Grove Park
Amenities: three competition quality baseball diamonds, a clubhouse which can be rented for events, a concession and is the start of the Whistler Disc Golf course. Large parking area, and the Valley Trail runs past the park. The park is night lit for baseball games. Rope climbing structure and tire swing
Access: Spruce Grove Park can be accessed off Spruce Grove Lane (to Kirkpatrick Rd) and from Lost Lake Park, down several trails.

'Coffee' Park
Behind Whistler's Marketplace, across from Blenz coffee shop. Perfect spot for mom to grab a coffee and watch the kids climb...
Amenities: Tangled natural wood play structure with slides, poles and funky steps.
Rebagliati Park
Tucked beside the covered bridge and bordered by Fitzsimmons Creek, this village park is the summer location of the Whistler Theatre Project, and is also used by many groups for functions.
Amenities: grassy lawn, picnic tables, a “granny” walk.
Skate Park/BMX trails/Jump park
Located between day skier parking lot #2 and Fitzsimmons Creek. An old school snake run into a 6’ bowl and a big tranny square with multiple quarter pipes from 3’ to 9’, a spine, bowl corner and fun box with hubba in the middle. On the back side of the concrete square is an asphalt area with wooden ramps, double flat bank box, 9’ quarter, 5’ quarter with flat banks on either side and a funky fun box. BMX trails & Jump Park.
Peace Park
Our newest park, located between the upper and lower Village, just by the covered bridge, is a great place to enjoy a break from work, a picnic or take a rest from shopping or strolling.
Amenities: benches and public art. Peace Park is wheel chair accessible.
Whistler Vilage Park
A meandering path, at one point representing glacier fingers, at another a wetland boardwalk, and at a third, a yellow brick road , wanders through this narrow park in the middle of the village. The park contains a river feature, several popular public art pieces, water fountains, a story telling circle and a grassy slope. The new Whistler Public Library is under construction adjacent to the park, and will open to it for children’s storytelling and other programs.

'Helicopter' Wayside Park
Tapley's farm, below Myrtle Philip Elementary School - beside the fields (off of Balsam Way)
Amenities: swings, hill with slide, cool helicopter play structure.
'Tangeled Tree' Park
Franz's Trail, Creekside in front of Morgans Restaurant.
Amenities: small tangled wood structure with slides, poles and bridge.
Millar's Pond Park
In Bayshores at the top of Cheakamus Way.
Amenities: 2 tennis courts, swings, jungle gym, slide, picnic tables.
Neighbourhood Parks
Each neighbourhood has a small park, a place for quiet reflection, children's play and relaxation. Some have play structures, picnic tables and bbqs, water features or another attraction. These parks are intended for neighbourhood use for pedestrian access, though of course anyone may enjoy them, but as such, there is limited parking.
